The purpose of Writing from the Deeper Self is to bring into the world writings that remind readers of their essential nature and connection with life, and help bring them through places of internal and external darkness to the experience of inspiration, liberation, peace, wholeness, beauty, song, praise, and redemption.

In this way, by approaching writing not so much as a profession as a vehicle for transforming the inner nature of a human being, the books and other written works that emerge from the WFDS matrix will transform the outer world, as well. This occurs not only because of the particular subject matter that is addressed, but also because of the internal place within the writer from which the subject is addressed. As we are tuned, so those who come into contact with the range and harmonics of our tuning begin to vibrate sympathetically, much like a stringed instrument–and glorious music results.

People reading these books and stories are better able to see their own stories, and thereby are restored to their own wholeness. And, completing the circle of yearning and fulfillment that characterizes all human beings in their depths–both writers and readers alike–readers receive in their souls what grew in the souls of the writers. And they are renewed and washed with recognition, and re-given the gift of their unique yet interconnected place in the scheme of things.

The WFDS consultation process is designed not only to produce profound and beautiful publishable books, but also to support and encourage the human beings doing the writing. Writing is courageous, if rewarding, work. By working with these writers on an ongoing basis, Naomi Rose is able to provide consistent support and support for the writer’s own knowledge of what works. The process of a life out of which fine works of art come into being requires support and encouragement during fallow times as well as harvest times.

Publication

The books engendered through the WFDS approach can be self-published by the author, or brought to the attention of an external publisher, with Naomi’s help and support.

The Creative stream is inside everyone, whether they think of themselves as a “creative person” or not. And while this Creative connection is universal, how it comes to and through each person is totally unique. So once you discover how Creativity flows through you, you can set up the positive conditions that will invite it into your life, and learn to use it most fruitfully and fulfillingly.

You Can Create Anything That Calls to You (not only writing)
With great joy, I am expanding my book-development practice to include Creativity Coaching & Consulting. The form this creativity will take can be anything that’s calling to you. You may want to write something other than a book. You may want to open to being a painter. You may want to let your secret musician out. You may want to create a specific project, or a new way of being, or simply once-and-for-all experience yourself as a creative human being. In a certain sense, it doesn’t matter which particular focus you choose to express your creativity: whatever the focus, you will get to connect with the Creative force, use it, and be uplifted and enlarged by it.

What Is Creativity, Anyway?
My view, in a nutshell, is that Creativity is our connection to the Divine ~ to our larger nature, which we usually are not conscious of. However, since Creativity is really the nature of our own being, it is already inside us. When we are able to tap it, open to it, and become an instrument for it, something incredibly beautiful happens in the process and the “product.”

Sometimes people think that being creative means having lots of new, good ideas. To me, it includes that but goes far, far beyond that. Anything that has ever inspired you in your life ~ whether the work of great artists, or thinkers, or humanitarians, or spiritual teachers, and so on ~ speaks to the particular ways in which you yourself are creative.

There is an innate yearning to touch and express this Creativity in some form (or many forms).

How We Can Work Together
As my book-writing clients (and friends) have told me, I have a gift for bringing out the creative in people. Although I have various streams of creative expression myself (writing; visual art; singing), I don’t even have to be an expert in the creative form that interests you. My job is to listen to what you want ~ help make conscious your unique creative path, already in you, so that you can follow it ~ encourage your courage ~ and fine-tune your esthetics, if desired, so that your creation, and your experience of creation, is blissful, beautiful, and beneficial. My job is to shine a light on where the inner switch is, so you can turn it on at will.

We can work together in person (if you are in the San Francisco Bay Area) or by phone. It’s amazing how, with the right kind of listening and care, trust and creativity can take place over the phone. One to four sessions (with occasional booster shots) should do it for most people. My rate is $120/hour (sessions last an hour). Payment can be made by PayPal or check. And the results (even the process) are ~ as they say ~ priceless.
